Introducing...
The Chair Tap Dance
Instructor Course
STEP 1:
Familiarize yourself with the content of the presentation. You don't need to memorize it, but make sure you understand the material and why it is important.
When you are finished the course, we will go over it together, and I will ask you a some general questions about the contents and how you will apply them to seniors when you start teaching.
This will not take you long!
STEP 2:
As part of the Instructor Course, you will receive my Chair Tap Dance for Seniors online course.
This is a great way to learn the tap steps you will need to know and at the same time, gain understanding of how I speak to and teach older adults.
This course also includes plenty of dances to practice so you feel completely ready to lead classes when the time comes.
You can also teach these dances to your classes if you want to, so the choreography is done for you!

STEP 3:
Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, and you have a good grasp on everything, email me to let me know you are ready.
I will ask you to video yourself "teaching" a few different things. Don't worry, this does not need to be anything high-tech! You can do it with your phone camera.
Then, submit it back to me for review. I will give feedback and let you know if there are any changes to be made before you are ready for certification.
STEP 4:
We will get on a Zoom call together to go over some things covered in the course. I will ask you a few questions and you can ask me yours! It will be nice to meet you face to face!
If more than one person is ready at the same time, we may do this in a group call.
